I believe good communication makes meaningful work easier to understand.

Whether I’m producing a video, improving a website, simplifying a communication system, or helping an organization think through a challenge, the goal is always the same:

Help people connect with what matters.

How I got here.

For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of leading communications for a growing church in Eastern Washington. During that time, I’ve worn a lot of different hats: producing videos, photographing events, managing websites, overseeing newsletters, growing a YouTube channel, improving Google Business Profiles, coordinating volunteers, and helping ministries communicate more clearly.

At first, those responsibilities seemed unrelated. Over time, I realized they all shared the same purpose. Helping people understand.

Whether someone is visiting a website for the first time, watching a story, reading an email, or walking through the front doors of an organization, every interaction communicates something. The clearer those moments become, the easier it is for people to engage with meaningful work. That’s the work I enjoy most.

A few things about me.

Before starting my career, I went to film school in Michigan to study Hollywood filmmaking. It was a really fun experience and gave me a great foundation in the craft. I graduated with honors in 2015 with an Associate of Applied Science in Film and Media Production.

Outside of client work, you’ll usually find me making YouTube videos about creativity, experimenting with new technology, watching movies, or spending time with my wife.

I’m endlessly curious about the intersection of communication, storytelling, systems, and technology, and I’m always looking for better ways to help meaningful work reach the people it’s meant to serve.

What I believe.

Communication should create clarity.

Stories should build trust.

Good systems create freedom.

People matter more than platforms.

What it’s like to work with me.

I’m not interested in making communication more complicated.

Clients usually come to me because something feels overwhelming. There are too many platforms, too many moving pieces, or too many ideas competing for attention.

My role isn’t just to create something beautiful but to help bring clarity.

That might mean producing a video, reorganizing a website, improving a communication workflow, or simply asking better questions until the right solution becomes obvious.

The goal is always the same:

Make the process feel straightforward

I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Whether you already have a clear vision or you’re simply trying to figure out the next step, I’d be happy to have a conversation.
